brake pads for american cars...

Hey does anyone know where to get perfromance break
pads for american models(98 grand am)?  My dad needs a
replacement pads and the pep boys pads are pathetic. 
He has worn through 3 sets in less than 3 years and
all he does is highway driving.  So, much for the
"lifetime" pads.  They have given us 3 warrantee sets,
but I don't want to put them back on.
