replacing that #@$% headlight switch light

my headlight switch has been possessed lately. took it out, noticed the bulb 
that lights the switch is out. looked everywhere in my parts car for one 
that would fit w/o luck.  anyone know where i can get one, or other tricks 
to replace it? i didn't even know the damn thing had a light, but now it's 
really bugging me...
