Yes and no, the Bentley only says that the wires to to T8/2 and T8/8,
but I don't recall seeing the pins on the tranny half numbered as such.

Yes, but the plug can only be plugged in one way, so it shouldn't take
long to figure out how to properly splice in the connector.
