I can take mine out in less than 45 minutes. Of course all the extra jun=

If you've never done it before, it's an all day thing. After that you can=
 do
it in a couple of hours. Get a Bentley Manual, much better than Haynes. Y=
ou
first remove DS driveshaft, then you basically disconnect everything
(driveshafts, shift linkage, speedo cable, wiring to backup switch,
starter), remove lower stress bar, support the motor, drain the fluid,
unbolt the rear, front, and side tranny mounts, drop the assembly to clear =
the
wheel well, remove small bolts holding bellhouse cover on, support tranny=
,
unbolt 3 large bolts holding tranny to block, separate from motor, twist =
to
clear, pull, and it's out. IIROR.

The center part of the clutch is raised on one side. I _think_ this side
goes into the hole of the flywheel.

It's a round wire dealie-o, after you bolt on the pressure plate, the
pushrod plate goes on, There a 3 tabs on the pressure plate that the
"spring" slides under and secures the plate. Then the clutch disk and
flywheel are bolted on.

I wouldn=B9t call it quick and easy, but if you can remove a driveshaft, =
then
you can do this. You'll need jack stands for the car, a floor jack for th=
e
tranny, and a bottle jack/floor jack to support the motor from the bottom.
Triple square bits for the inner CV bolts, a 30mm socket for the outer
driveshaft bolt (with 1/2" driver/Long extention-NOT a ratcheting driver)=
,
8mm allen for the starter bolts, 17mm bit for tranny fluid drain plug (no=
t
_absolutely_ necessary to drain, but you'll like it when time comes to
reinstall) The rest is done with basic metric hand tools. Oh, flywheel
