rocco hood scoops??? by kamei??

With the discussion about scoops and an earlier thread about mounting
the air intake behind the grill and in front of the radiator, I started
wondering about mounting a small hood scoop on the hood. Might as well
take advantage of the air up there no? I was thinking about a smallish
scoop but big enough to handle the cfm needed, route it through a 3"
tube to the airbox intake. Know of anybody whose done this and pluses
and minuses?

if it helps any, the outlines on my hood are

39 cm wide at the back
38 cm wide at the front
33 cm long on the outside
about 23 cm long in the middle
and they are canted about 1 cm to one side.
