Valve spring compressor tool 8V head

I am looking for a valve spring compressor tool, for
an 8V VW head.

Bow Wow has the right tool, as shown in the Bentley,
but they do not have it stock (2-3 weeks), and it
sells for 165$ CDN. Expensive, and unavailable...

All the other tools available that I saw locally, are
all more or less designed for V8 chevys, and the like.

Anybody knows which spring compressor tool works on a
VW 8V head, like a C-Clamp kind of tool?
