Diesel Truck---FOUND!

Hey all!

Thanks to all of you that helped me find a diesel for commuting.  Now I
won't have to rely on my hotrod to get me back and forth to work and keep
from putting unnecessary miles on it.  Ended up finding a 81 pickup with GTI
wheels, straight body, perfect glass, and (big bonus) tinted turn signal
lenses.  The engine starts up and runs perfect but gets hot after about 5
minutes of idling.  The current owner thinks it is a head gasket and has a
head set that goes with it but could be a stuck t-stat (probably not but I
can hope!!  Worst case scenerio it is a crack somewhere.  Maybe I'll borrow
or buy someone's block tester and check it out first.

All of this for the dirt cheap price of $500.  Pretty good deal for a pickup
in this condition.  Again, thanks all!
