Yah, I was gonna let this thread quietly pass after later finding out that a
harmonic dampener is in no way related to balance shafts...but since it's
not quite dead yet - I'll correct myself.

A harmonic dampener in apparently some contraption sandwiched in with the
pulleys designed to dampen vibrations from the belts and other stuff.

I get confoosed easily =P
