Which would you choose: G-grind solid lifter or 266 Hyd head?
I do beleive that though the GTi head breaths a little better, a JH/Solid
lifters Head 8v head once port/polished have more capabilities (so I was
told) but I could be wrong, I do Have a head for sale if you want to buy it
(funny you have 2 hydraulics and I have 2 solids).

=>My dilema: I have a g-grind cam, but no solid lifter head for it. But
=>I also have two hydraulic GTI big valve heads, but with stock cams.
=>Either way, I will P&P and get the head rebuilt.
=>
=>So, I either buy a cam for the heads I have, or buy a head for the cam
=>I have... Hmmmmm... Am I better off buying a more aggressive cam for
=>the hydraulic head? Isn't there more restriction in the hyd heads
=>because the lifter base is lower/bigger though? (less effective P&P)
=>
=>My other thinking is that since this head will sit on top of a 8v 2.0
=>litre w/ 2" TT exhaust I can go with a more aggressive cam than the
=>g-grind and still get decent low end torque... It should be about the
=>same cost, unless I can come up with a good used solid lifter head for
=>cheap... Anyone have opinions on the TT 266 hydraulic sport cam?
=>
=>Thanks for any input!

=>Mark.
=>
=>BTW, my Weber TB just sold on ebay for $131 U.S. Nice bonus!
