What's a good gasket material for block off plate?

Actually, the ABA has a crankcase vent in the spot where the warm-up
regulator mounts on a CIS engine.  For this swap, since I'm retaining
the CIS system, I have to either make or buy a block off plate to cover
the hole where the vent was, and then mount the warm-up regulator on
the bottom part of the plate...  Since the part is $65 U.S., I thought
I'd save some cash and make one myself...
