anyone familiar with the Option 6 setup?

Could someone enlighten me on the specifics?
How much length is welded onto the tranny case? The few pix I've seen =
have it protruding into the wheel well.
How much would the shift linkage have to be modified? What mod's need =
to be performed?
Is the 6th put on the pinion shaft or the main shaft (pinion shaft, =
right)? How is that shaft lengthened to accommodate the 6th (typically a =
0.71 5th, right)? Or is it swapped from some other car?
My brain is feeling curious today....Ron - would this be a way to =
supplement your income? ;)
