yes.  when you are doing a job that requires that your suspension be in the 
"up" position, ramps are good.  Of course my first choice would be the 
hydraulic lifts they have in garages - but there are a few other tools I 
want to get before budgeting $10-20K for those.  (There are some electric 
lifts for around $1-3K I think.)
