Dan,

The hole that is furthest from the pivot point will provide the greatest
reduction.  ABD advertises "25, 45 or up to 65%" reduction.  If you want
to make it even shorter, you can drill a hole further down on the
selector shaft on the tranny itself.  I did that and my throw was
*greatly* reduced.
