Tire pressure was Re: My own 2 stupid questions (tires and trannies)



But I don't understand why you keep saying that when, as has been mentioned,
the psi on the tire is the maximum safe pressure cold. Unless I can get a
recommendation from the tire manufacturer specific to my car and tire it
seems the owner's handbook and trial and adjustment is the best way to
start. Certainly, the tires should be checked for wear pattern and increase
or decrease psi as needed.
