0.80 5th gear question

Cathy - unfortunately, the list on the .org is quite up-to-date. I believe
Ron maintains the most up-to-date list(sorry, I think I deleted the link,
but I do have the data in a Word file. I can email it offline if you
like...)

I actually picked up a DFQ tranny (96 Golf???) from Jason Cammisa. It has
the 0.80 5th stock and is perfect for the highway. I actually contemplated
doing the 4k into the larger tranny case with a 4th gear from my AGB (1.13)
and a 0.80 5th - ala Ben Harder's "super tranny". But I think my 3.94 gear
might be toast....

Also, Autotech sells an OEM 5th gear for around $220...

site, I get only AMC/CHE (115 hp) as a candidate. Is this gas? models?
