the tool you need is called a bearing splitter... it is basically two wedges 
with a radius to match your hub, which are brought together forcing the 
bearing away from the hub.  it works real well, but i don't know anything 
more about them.  when i bought new bearings, i took my entire strut and 
knuckle to the car quest and they installed the bearings for free... can't 
beat that!
