Fuel Pump from Corrado VR6 to Scirocco 16v?

Hello List,

My fuel pump is starting to make strange noise, so
I think it will die soon at any moment!!!

My question is that I have a friend that have a fuel
pump from it's Corrado 93 VR6... I just wondering if
that pump is the same, and will fit onto my scirocco
87 16v?
