RE: falcon azenis & tire q's

Unless you've run on R-compound race tires before, the Azenis tires WILL be
the stickiest tires you've ever driven. Period. While I haven't driven them
yet myself, they should also have some very stiff sidewalls. I've been
contemplating them for my teardrops or my G60 wheels.

These tires have been made specifically for the new STS class of SCCA
Solo-II, and they have been cleaning up. The class requires a "real" street
tire. They won't last as long as most other HP tires. My friend who runs STS
in his AWD Impreza RS, which usually wins the class easily, has now been
beaten twice by an almost stock Mazda Protoge with those tires...and last
weekend it was in the rain!!!
