Brakes Q?

Well, 85 16v runs well. Some minor problems, hesitation which I think is
from the fuel pump(s), cause it's whining REALLY loudly, and the shift
linkage needs to be adjusted and put back to 50% reduced throw.  And one
MAJOR problem...

So, I haven't been able to look at them yet, but when I stepped on the brake
pedal, it was hard (like WAAAY too hard), but the brakes were, well almost
non-existent! It still has 8v brakes on it (or at least it should cause the
16v rear calipers were toast, and I don't want the fronts so I can run small
rims later). The only thing that has been done is the caliper carriers were
ground done a bit near the hub on the front because the GT-R's were rubbing
them (maybe they bent a little? I hope not).  Oh, and the parking brake
lever was kind of hard to pull up and would only go up about 3 clicks or so.


Any suggestions?
