I would not worry about coating the intake manifold. However, treating
everything else is a great idea. I would do the following in this order:

piston tops - thermal barrier
combustion chamber - thermal barrier
exhaust valve backs/stems - thermal barrier
piston skirts - dry film lubricant
exhaust manifold - thermal barrier
downpipe - thermal barrier
piston bottoms - heat emitter
intake manifold - heat emitter
