[Tech] 1.8 8V Shortblock - Freeze Plug?

A "freeze plug" on the "back" of Wolfie's ('85
Scirocco) shortblock is leaking oil . . .

Is this repairable? with the engine in the car?

(I thought I bought a car, now it's becoming an
education . . .)
