RE: 5th grade questions on coilover kits & whose to use?
Woohoo! -another controversy! Here we go, kids! :^)

What is the point in making small changes to ride height? You can tell the
difference in on the street? The ability to make these small adjustments are
worth the huge money that the vendors charge? Come on...

What the heck size wheels are you swapping to? For example, If you are
running 8" wide rims in the back, then this isn't a performance issue
anyway. -cause that is wrong from a handling point of view to begin with.
How much wheel backspacing is really needed? The range of *proper* wheel
sizes and offesets don't vary that much. Again, if you are talking about
doing this all just for looks, then this discussion is moot. I am
considering the performance issues.

Okay well, besides making it easier to fit wheels that "shouldn't" be there
in the first place, and making it easy to slam your car beyond the point
that it drives correctly, where is the big advantage? :^) Once again, I am
considering this from a performance engineering point of view. I suspect
that Ron was inquiring within this same context.
If I can learn something new and find a new performance edge, then teach me.
Please! Otherwise, I must maintain the same "don't believe the hype"
position.
