Well, there are many unknowns and intangibles.  What type of speed contest
are we talking about? 1/4 mile drag?  1/8 mile drag? autocross?  Watkins
Glen RR?  Who's the better driver and/or who has more seat time in his
particular vehicle?  Who is likely to blow the 2-3 shift and who isn't?  On
paper, at least, you probably have the advantage.  But so did Tyson against
Spinks.....
Until the cars are side-by-side and the revs come up, it's all trash talk. 
Enjoy the interchange....my guess is the guy will never "have the time" to
actually square off witcha'.

So a guy at work told me today..."You know my accord will suck you through
the tailpipe and spit you out!" I was like..."Yeah, you're right, I don't
have my engine in yet..." The gauntlet has been tossed...

He Has:
1999 Accord VTEC...Approx. 205 HP to the wheels (??) Automatic with no
mods...Weight 2800 and change...

I have:
81 S with a 2.0 16v 1.8 head (Autotech cams) port matched and polished, 4k
tranny with sachs sport, Supersprint header-Autotech Exhaust...etc. etc.
etc.
I am guessing I'll put at least 165 to the wheels (??) on top of that, my
car weighs about 1800 and change (I have no interior except the two front
seats. It's completed gutted besides the dash...(can you say sheet metal and
VDO...I thought you could ;-)

What are HIS chances ? I'm guessing slim to none...So say he has me by 40 HP
(ridiculous, but let's just say that). There's at least 1000 pounds weight
difference...I mean c'mon....

Am I wrong here ? Or am I undersetimating him and overestimating MY car ?
