That's gonna change by springtime, when the '02.5 GTI w/24-valve VR6 shows
up with standard 6-speed 02J tranny.  These 6-speeds are already available
across the pond, so they can surely be sourced here by now too.. still sounds
like a hella huge expensive/PITA project though!
