Re: Drag Racing Results
Joe,
I was running the stock 1986 16V tranny with a Velocity limited slip, stage
II kit. The track seemed to be in really good condition (it's the only one
I've ever raced on) and it was a cool night for Sacramento. Things started
at 6:00 PM and my best time was on my 4th run. It seemed that the track
cooled down too much to get any good traction, as everyone's times seemed to
slow down after 9:00 PM. It was a cool night.
In order all of my times were:
15.260 (at 6:02 PM)
15.160
15.169
15.114
15.366
15.260
15.154 (at 9:47 PM)

cut a few tenths off that time easily. How was the track, and what were
ambient temps? I really would like to go to Sac to race, all the strips in
SoCal suck now that Pomona is out of the question.
