RE: Factory Oil Cooler removal Q's...



BTW, I was able to take the one 16v hose that is NLA to Kragen.  The guy let 
me walk around and look at all their hoses, and I found one that was exactly 
like it minus the one little outlet to the oil warmer/cooler/whatever.  It's 
probably the one for the 8v.  I had to cut maybe 1.5" off it and it fit 
perfectly.  I got another pieces of hose about 5" long for the return, and 
stuck a mag lug from a camaro in it and squeezed it down with a hose clamp.

For the filter I cut all of one threaded end of the pipe that screws into 
the adapter, and it seems to be working pretty well.  I only get like three 
full turns on the filter but I havent had any problems.
