We have the variant 2 in the passat. But we ordered them from KW for less 
than HPA is selling them (including shipping). HPA is waaaaay to expensive - 
especially for variant 1. So far they're good. PITA to adjust the back in a 
passat though.

There is a group buy for these things on the Vortex right now.  They are
"Europe's number one selling...blah, blah, blah."    Anyone have any
experience with them?  Any good?  The price quoted is $889.
