Sorry, I forgot to respond to this part. When I say "health reasons"
what I guess I really mean is convenience. I am constantly
prototyping, milling and casting possible products, and never have to
use anything more than an organic filter mask, and maybe some eye
protection. As such, the idea of having to "suit up" to avoid getting
little glass fibers imbedded in my skin, seams like an awful lot of
trouble to go to for a one shot mold. If we were talking about
something that I would be using a hundred times, I might be willing
to do it, but when we are talking about a mold that is going to be
used exactly once, there other ways to do it that will be a lot less
likely to imbed foreign material in my skin.
