RE:  $2k into old Scirocco

Carefully consider insurance costs before diving in.  You might be 
surprised at how much they will eat into your kitty if you are young, 
single, male, etc.  Dad's Quantuum might be fiscally saner and you will 
probably get financing and service history to boot.  If you are set on A1 
chassis, look into insurance.  Some mmodels may not get the bogey that 
Scirocco's get.  PS  Dad's Quantuum is already insured!
