RE: Removing Ignition Switch



If it's the same as the mk2 Scirocco, you just take off the lower column
trim and remove whatever is holding the switch in (in my case, a wire tie,
although I think there was a lug on the switch for a screw).  Slide the
switch forward (towards the dash) along the axis of the tumbler, and it will
fall out.  Unplug the connector before or after removing the switch, and
you're done.
