Unfortunately no, that was not my Mk1 car that you saw.. more than likely
that was Ian Pitts' Mk1 that sees quite a bit of autocrossing use and he
lives not too far from that intersection.

My 81S has been under the weather due to clutch teething problems but
fortunately it will be back up in the running next week sometime..
