If an impact is all you want, yes, they can be worth it. I bought a heavy
duty DeWalt, and it is one tuff SOB. One thing I noticed, alot of the
cheaper electrics don't have as much torque in reverse as forward. Don't
know why, but the DeWalt puts out 275 ft/lbs forward and reverse. The
only bolt it had problems with was the main crank pully bolt...it finally
got it...after trashing my Craftsman 12-point 19mm impact socket...
