Re: OT 3/8" Air Impact wrench Recommendations?

The answer is in how much you are going to use these tools. If you just use
them on your own car and maybe a friends then by all means go for the cheap
stuff (I wouldn't get anything cheaper that Chicago Pneumatic) just keep it
oiled!! If you are planning to work on a lot of stuff where you will need
serviceablility or warrantees than go with the more expensive stuff (IR,
Craftsman, etc.). I have two sets of tools, stuff at work (99.9%
Matco/Snap-On/Mac/Cornwell/Craftsman) then the cheap stuff-that-works at
home. Oh, and Harbor Freight is the place to go if you buy something with a
name, OR even if it doesn't have a name just keep the receipt and they will
replace it for you too (their policy is pretty decent). You could also buy
the name brand stuff and Harbor Freight if you wanted too! Just use your
common sense and use your money where it will do you the most good, not on a
tool you'll use once or twice! When looking at responses to questions like
this it seems there are two different types of people on the list; those
that have too much money and those that have none!!
