Interesting, the Rieger does the same exact thing. Start cranking it
right away, and i can crank it as long as i want, but no dice. Second time
after cycling key(/pump), and it starts right up. I'm in charleston, sc, and
its not that cold here. I'd say if its <50 degrees outside it will play that
game. Any higher and it starts first try.
My guess is its a quirk with the thermo-time switch, combined with being
slightly out of tune. This could make it too rich/lean to start.
