Re: AVGas versus Race gas



The key to this statement is the AV Gas is leaded fuel, so in car with cats 
it is a no no. If the car is non cat then AV Gas can still be used, 
tetra-ethyl lead in AV Gas is the same as what was in gasoline for you car 
until the EPA stepped in. The lead is an inexpensive octane booster, Racing 
gas is more refined which adds to it cost.

Just rambling, I researched this once a long time ago.
