Re: 1.6Lengine updated



It is a GOOD thing to swap the pedal clusters, don't get this wrong!!  There
are nice spots for not only the brake light switch but also for a future
cruise control switch.  Plus, it has the little springy thing on the clutch
pedal that makes it return like a hydrualic clutch!!  I have one from a 16v
Scirocco and plan on doing the swap someday but I WAS able to mount the
brake light switch on my existing 77 pedal assy and haven't had any
problems.
