RE: strut top bearing question

The gap changes with incline??
Does it matter if the car is facing uphill, downhill, or across the hill?
Just how large is the gap? Is the gap equal (right-to-left-side) whether
the wheels are turned left or right? Need more info....

Subject: strut top bearing question

Hi all,
My car came with Poly strut top bearings and Koni adjustables which had
been recently installed by the PO. When on a hill or with the wheels turned
there is a gap between strut bearing and the strut top. The gap seems to
change with incline and with how far the wheels are turned. With the wheels
straight and the car flat there is no gap. Is this normal??

Thanks!
Matt
