YUP. All of the 1976-early 1983 motors are stamped
"1.6" becuzz they used the same block.
This includes the one year only 1978 EH 1457 cc
wonder(for US Sciroccos EH) - (anybody want my old one
from our '78??? - less than 100K miles)
