OT - GTI

There is a "GTI" for sale here locally and for $200, all it says in the
paper is "good engine"
Im thinking of getting it for parts. Does this "species" of the rabbit line
have a few upgraded parts that may be usefull?  Susp,exhaust, 14"wheels etc?
At the very least a seperat set of wheels for snow tires would be nice.
