RE: 8v emissions

Actually Larry if the CO content was high it would be fuel mixture (running 
rich). HC OTOH is an indicator of unburnt fuel. Not excessive fuel. High HC 
levels can be caused by such things as bad ignition components or a vacuum 
leak.
