My brother brought his Peugeot 305 back from France and all he needed to
change was the headlights and bumpers as well. and only did he perform this
for inspection), Now my question for the people that investigated shipping
costs, what alleys did you looks into already, as I am looking at container
shipping, and that fits 2 cars, boat shipping method, would take 30 days
time-lap, but I recall my brother importing his Peugeot that way and it was
the cheapest he had found.

In 1976 my Dad bought a Mercedes in Texas.  A friend of his bought one
(brand new) in Germany and had it shipped over.  He had to buy US bumpers
and lights, but no emissions because it was a diesel.  The car ended up
being way cheaper even after the modifications.

All these things need for emissions would be a cat, right?  So put on a new
exhaust with a cat, pull some US bumpers out of some lister's trash heap,
grab a pair of US lights for the weekend and get the darn thing registered.
Might also need MPH on the speedo, so swap instrument clusters from your
other car for the afternoon while you get it inspected.

There has got to be a way to do this efficiently and cost effectively.  That
car is just too sweet to leave its fate to chance.
