Turboing a Roc;Anyone tried Audi parts?

Not seriously planning anything but the thought has crossed my mind that
maybe someone who had a turbo and manifold could use the engine management
off a turbo Audi like a 5000 or so.  Obviously not using the FI system 
since the
cylinder counts don't match.  So anyone ever checked this out?  Problems with
doing this?
