The only blue colored oil additive that I know is made by stp, and is for
noisy valves (supposed to cleaned teh carbon off of them..)

I just drained the oil from my recently purchased '86, and it was blue!
(not bright blue, but it had a blue tint that I immediately noticed when I
pulled the drain pan out from under the car)  Any idea what this could be?
Some sort of synthetic with a blue dye maybe?  Off road diesel or kerosene
(dyed blue to indicate that no road tax was paid on it) added to clean out
the engine?
