16V springs/shocks into 82 8V?

I have the H&R sport springs with Boge Turbogas springs/shocks from my
wrecked 16V in my garage that I was planning to put into the 82 roofless
Scirocco that is still in NY.  Eventually I'll get the thing over here. 
Anyway, would these suspension bits bolt into the 82?  If not, I'll have
to sell them.
