Retro trend (new Scirocco)

With all the "retro" nostalgia lately, i.e. the New Beetle, the New Thunderbird, the New Mini...maybe VW should make a New Karmann Ghia?!

Granted the Scirocco has quite a cult following, I think more of the baby boomer generation would identify with a small, fast, sporty car bearing the Ghia name.  Say a two seat low slung version of the Polo VR6?  SOmething with a tight swoopy body vaguely reminiscent of the old Karmann Ghia?

That might be worth some marketing research by VW.
