Re: dumb Dyno question
Most manufacturers report the the hp and torque of an engine from a fixed
bench (engine not in the car). This way then can bump up their claim to fame
for hp, as example I have a 69 SS Camaro that I used to run in the Super Gas
Class (NHRA) 800hp 454 big block (at the flex plate) to the wheels was
710hp.
