RE: crappy 6200rpm redline
Mine cuts out at about 7200 I guess. That's what it felt like the other day
(oops!).

6200 RPM limit for a 16V?? That's just way too low, so something is
screwed.
The TEC II will not have this problem UNLESS it is the fuel pump relay
and you wire it to use the stock relay.
I deleted the fuel pump relay wiring that came with the Haltech and used
the stock relay just to keep the wiring simple, but I have a relay with
no limit.
