I thought about this also.  What class should I build my car for?  Will it be 
competitive?  If I do more mods to it and bump it from SP to P, will it be 
less competitive?  

I decided "Screw it!"  I'm just out to have fun and drive as fast as I can in 
a really cool car!  Don't even care about winning, just having a good time.

So I stayed with SP so I can still use it as a road car.

BTW, if you build it to IT specs, you can race it in SP.  Best of both 
worlds.

I went with straight SP specs since in the 76 Roc I'd have to leave it a 1.6 
for IT specs.  SP lets me use any 8V Roc motor so I built a .040 over JH 
motor.
