Army 85-88.
Served in (what was) the 8th Infantry Division <mechanized> (which is now
part of the 3rd Armor Div) Germany as a "67Y" which is an "Attack
Helicopter Repairer". In english, I was a Cobra Crewchief. (AH-1F) Turned
wrenches on helocopters. it was great since i was in the aviation side of
things. No grunt duty for me or at least, not as much. (Your always a
soldier first in the Army.)

it wasnt for me. I didnt like the politics that go along in the Army. I
had fun, served my country and got out. YMMV.
