RE: modifying upshift light

I don't know what caused the upshift light to come on in 5th gear, but I DO
know that when mine did it, I replaced the switch and it has worked
perfectly since.

I think I saw the answer not too long ago on the list, but what
causes the upshift light to come on in 5th?  My '84 does it pretty
much constantly.
